Questions
What does Portaim cost?
Portaim is free, with every feature included. There are no paid plans today.
What are the free plan limits?
10 imports per month and 1,500 processed rows per month. Limits reset at the start of each month. 'Processed rows' means data rows (header excluded) actually imported, not lines in the file.
Can I try Portaim without an account?
Yes. Click Try it now, then upload your own file (CSV, XLSX or XLS, up to 10 MB; the first 1,000 rows are processed) or pick one of six sample files. You can map, fix and download a Shopify-ready CSV. Exporting to a store needs a free account, and creating one keeps your trial's work. A trial is deleted after 24 hours.
What file formats are supported?
CSV, XLSX, and XLS files — uploaded, or fetched from a link (Google Drive, Google Sheets, Dropbox, or any file URL). You can pick the specific sheet and header row during upload. A WooCommerce product export is recognised and converted to Shopify's format automatically.
Do I need a Shopify store?
No. You can download a clean CSV formatted for Shopify and import it manually. Or connect your store for direct one-click export — with an Import-as-Draft switch if you want to review products in Shopify before they go live.
Is my data safe?
Yes. Files are stored in secure cloud storage with presigned URLs. Your data is never shared or used for training.
